Out here in Kerala, things move a bit slower, which is fine by us. We are located at Cheni Veettil Palliyalil in Ayankalam, which is a small post office area in Malappuram district. The address is 679594 if you are looking it up on a map. It’s a house-based setup for Benzy Food And Beverages, so it feels very local. There is a lot of green around us, and when it rains, it really pours down on the roof. We spend our time dealing with different food items and drinks. It’s a lot of checking bottles or packets and making sure the deliveries are ready to go out. The neighbors all know us since we’ve been in this spot for a while. We don't have a big fancy factory, just a place where we get things done. It’s mostly family and local hands helping out. The kitchen area or the storage rooms are usually busy with someone moving crates. You can hear the sounds of the village outside while we work. We drink a lot of local tea and talk about what needs to be shipped next. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time finding the house on the small roads, but we usually go out to guide them in. It’s just how things are done here in our part of the world, away from the big cities.
