Crescent College Of Nursing

Crescent College Of Nursing is located out on Venjanoor Road in Alathur. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big cities, which is nice for the students who need to focus. Most of the people you see here are busy studying for their nursing degrees. You see a lot of white uniforms walking up and down the road during the shift changes. The building is practical and simple, but it has enough room for the labs and the classrooms we use. We spend a lot of time checking on the clinical schedules and making sure the students have their practical work sorted out at the hospitals. Being in Palakkad, the weather is often a bit humid, so the fans are always going in the study halls. It’s a lot of hard work for the students, learning all the medical terms and how to take care of patients properly. They spend hours over their books and then more hours doing their training. We have a small canteen where everyone grabs a tea or a quick snack between their classes. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do here. The staff are mostly locals who have been around the medical field for a long time. We try to keep things organized, even though the paperwork can get a bit overwhelming during the admission season every year. It’s just a place where people come to learn a job that really matters.
