Shabhuling School

You can find Shabhuling School over in Basav Colony, near Walmiki Nagar and Shivaji Chowk in Latur. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening right outside our gates. We’ve been operating here for some time now, and the building has become a familiar sight for the neighbors. It’s not a massive institution with endless funding. It’s a local school built by people who wanted something close to home for their children. The classrooms are basic, with wooden benches and fans that creak a bit when they're on full speed. We spend a lot of time making sure the kids actually show up and do their work. Latur can get very hot and dry, so we try to keep the place as comfortable as we can with what we have. Our staff members are mostly locals who understand the community’s needs. We don't have a marketing department or a polished public image. We’re just a group of people working together to run a school. Sometimes the walls need a fresh coat of paint, and the playground could use some work, but the teaching happens regardless. We focus on the basics and try to help the kids get through their exams. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where the goal is just to provide a steady education for the neighborhood kids who rely on us to show up every morning.
