Our group, Greenvishwa Farmers Producer Companylimited, is located at House Number 251 in Aarali Khtal. That is over in Tuljapur, in the Osmanabad district. We are basically just a bunch of neighbors who grew up farming. We decided to put our names together on some papers to make the business side of things easier. Most of our work happens right here in the fields around Aarali. It’s a quiet village and we like it that way. We don't have a big office with a receptionist. Usually, if you want to find us, you just come to the house or look for us near the fields. Farming in Tuljapur can be a bit of a gamble with the rain, but we've been doing it for a long time. We know the land pretty well. Our families have lived here for generations. We don't use big words or have long meetings about strategy. We just talk about what seeds to buy and when to harvest. Sometimes we share tools and help each other out when things get busy. It’s a very practical way of living. Osmanabad has its challenges, but we are used to them. We just want to keep the farm running and make sure there's enough for everyone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just try to get by and keep the land healthy.
