We are over in the Narela Industrial Park at unit I-2228. This part of Delhi is really packed with factories and workshops, and we are right in the thick of it. We spend our days making and packing different kinds of bathroom fittings and accessories. The floor is usually covered in metal bits and there is a constant sound of polishing machines or hammers. It is a big industrial space and it can get pretty cold in the winter and very dusty in the summer. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to spot a defect better than any machine could. We don't have a showroom here, just the production line and some shelves for the finished stock. If someone wants to see what we make, we just pull a piece out of a box. The Dsidc area is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a quiet moment. We deal with a lot of local shops and distributors who come by in their small tempos to pick up orders. Most of our day is spent making sure the quality is okay and the counts are right before things get boxed up. It is a messy, noisy business but we enjoy the process of seeing something being made from scratch right here in the workshop. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by pretty fast.
