Varun Fabricators

You can find Varun Fabricators at 80, DSIDC Complex in the Wazir Pur Industrial Area. It’s an area that stays loud from morning until late at night with all the factories around us. Our place isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a heavy metal door and the sound of welding coming from inside. We do a lot of cutting and joining metal. The floor is usually covered in scraps and the smell of iron is everywhere. It’s hard work, but we’ve got a good crew who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; if someone comes by, they usually just shout for one of us over the noise of the grinders. Most of our days are spent looking at sketches and making sure the cuts are straight. Sometimes we have to redo a piece because it didn't fit right, which is frustrating, but that’s part of the trade. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. Wazir Pur is a gritty place, but it’s where we belong. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on this block. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects on the table. It’s simple work, done by people who’ve been doing it for a long time.
