Our place, Subh-Drishti Lamipack Pvt. Ltd., is located at A-66 in the Group Industrial Area of Wazirpur. If you know Wazirpur, you know it’s a heavy industrial zone, and our unit fits right in with the rest of them. We do a lot of lamination and packaging work here. The floor is always covered in scraps of film and paper, and the machines make a steady hum that you get used to after an hour or so. It’s a tough environment, very industrial and focused on output. We don’t have a fancy reception area; you just walk in past the main gate and you’re right where the action is. The air usually smells a bit like plastic and adhesive, which is just part of the job. Most of the workers have been with us for years, and we all just know what needs to be done without too much talk. We have big rolls of material coming in and finished packs going out all day. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend half the day fixing a roller or a heater, but we usually manage to get the orders out on time. Being at A-66 means we are right in the middle of a lot of other factories, so there is always noise and movement outside. It’s a busy, gritty kind of life here at Subh-Drishti Lamipack, and we just keep pushing forward with the work. We focus on the machines and the material, keeping things practical.
