Shri Krishna Engg. Works

Down on G.T.K. Road in the industrial area, you’ll find us at B-86. It’s a busy spot, surrounded by other workshops and factories. Shri Krishna Engg. Works is a place where you’ll hear the sound of hammers and grinders from early in the morning. We do engineering jobs, which basically means people bring us things that are broken or they need parts made from scratch. It’s a lot of oil, a lot of heavy steel, and plenty of hard work. The floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it, because that’s just the nature of an engineering shop. We’ve got lathes and drills that have seen better days but still work perfectly because we know how to fix them ourselves. The office is just a tiny corner with a desk piled high with blue-prints and old ledgers. We don't use much fancy software; we prefer writing things down in a notebook. The traffic on G.T.K. road is always a nightmare, so we usually start early to beat the trucks. We’ve been doing this for years, and the regulars know they can just walk in and find us at the back. It’s a loud, messy, and honest place to work. There is no corporate handbook here, just a bunch of tools and the skills to use them. We just take one day at a time and try to get the parts finished before the sun sets.
