Shreeji Agro

Our office is 401-B in the Usha Kiran Building. This is right in the Azadpur Commercial Complex too. It is a massive building with lots of similar offices tucked away. We handle agro products, mostly grains and things like that. The hallways are always full of people moving bags or carrying papers. It is a very busy atmosphere every single day. We have a small balcony where we keep some empty crates. The view is not great, just more concrete and some parked trucks. Inside, it is just a regular office with a couple of computers that we mostly use for checking emails and prices. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. It is not a fancy life. We drink a lot of water because it gets dry with all the dust from the grain market nearby. We have been here for several years. My partner and I started this after working for another firm nearby. We wanted to do our own thing finally. We do not have a big mission statement. We just buy and sell and try to make a living for our families. The traffic in Azadpur is the worst part of the job. It can take an hour just to get out of the complex in the evening. We usually wait until it clears up before heading home. Sometimes we just sit and chat about the day. It is a simple setup.
