We are located at C-91/1 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from all the factories around us. Shiva Utensils Industries Pvt.Ltd. is mostly about making things like pots and pans and other kitchen stuff. The floor is always busy with workers moving things around or operating the machines. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your good clothes because it gets a bit dirty with all the metalwork going on. We have stacks of finished utensils waiting to be boxed up and sent out. The office is just a small partitioned area where we keep the books and take calls. It can get really hot in here during the summer, so the big fans are always running. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the area hasn't changed much, it's just gotten more crowded. The workers know each other well, and we usually have a good rhythm going throughout the day. We don't really do anything fancy for the visitors, we just show them what we have in stock. Every morning starts with a quick check of what needs to be made and what needs to be shipped. It’s just a regular factory life where we focus on getting the work done and making sure everything is counted correctly before it leaves the gate. Most of us take our tea breaks outside when it gets too stuffy. It’s a long day, starting at eight, but we are used to it by now.
