Shashank Creation

Our shop is over in Sector 15 of Rohini, at the F-9/105 address. It’s a busy corner of New Delhi, and there is always something going on outside our door. At Shashank Creation, we focus on making things and getting orders out the door. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have our worktables, our tools, and a lot of boxes that seem to stay in the corner no matter how much we clean up. The lighting isn't great, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. Most of the time, we’re just in our work clothes, trying to stay ahead of the schedule. Dealing with the heat in Delhi during the summer is probably the hardest part of the job, but we have a couple of fans that help a bit. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to make sure the stuff we produce is okay and that people get what they asked for. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them and move on. It’s a very basic business, really. We’ve been in this part of Rohini for a while, and we like the rhythm of the neighborhood. Folks stop by to chat or check on their stuff, and we just keep working through the day. It’s a living, and it keeps us out of trouble mostly, which is all we want.
