Rati Ram Ram Vinod Saree Creation

Rati Ram Ram Vinod Saree Creation is based in Saket, specifically at room 403 in the Regus Business Centre. It’s part of the commercial complex at D 4. Being in a business center is a bit different for us because it’s quite professional around here, but inside our space, it’s all about the sarees. We have stacks of them and the colors are everywhere. It’s a bit of a contrast to the gray hallways outside. I spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and checking the work. We aren't a giant factory or anything like that. It’s a more personal operation. Saket is a busy area, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the Delhi traffic. Once I’m inside, though, it’s a lot more focused. We don’t really do big advertising campaigns. People who know about our saree creations usually find us through someone else. We like it that way because it keeps things manageable. We don't have a big mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just try to make things that people will want to wear for their special days or even just for everyday use. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with threads and samples lying around, but that’s just part of the creative process I guess. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but seeing the finished product makes it feel like it was worth the effort.
