Nupur Creation

We’ve been based in Pitampura for quite some time now, specifically in M V Block. Nupur Creation is a small setup, nothing like those big fashion houses you see in the malls. We’re located in 61 C, and if you walk by, you’ll probably hear the sound of sewing machines running all day long. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have rolls of fabric stacked up against almost every wall. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come in, you’ll probably just see us working at the big table in the middle of the room. We started this because we liked making things by hand. It wasn't about building a brand or anything like that. We just enjoy the process of seeing a piece of cloth turn into something someone can actually wear. The lighting isn't the best, and we’re always losing our scissors, but we manage. Most of our customers are women from the surrounding blocks who want something custom for a festival or a family function. We don't do much advertising. We just rely on the fact that if we do a decent job, people will come back. Sometimes we get behind on orders when there's a lot of weddings happening at once, but we usually catch up. It’s a busy, dusty, creative little space and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It feels like home after all these years.
