Seema Engineering Works

Tri Nagar is a crowded place, especially around the old bus stand where we are located. Our address is 2522, and it's a spot we’ve occupied for a good while now. You can hear the buses and the shouting of the conductors all day long. It's noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. In our shop, we mostly deal with mechanical parts and repair work that needs doing. There is always grease on the floor and a bit of metal shavings in the corners, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of engineering stuff. We have a couple of lathes and some drills that have seen better days but still run fine for what we need. People come in with broken pieces from their machines or some custom job they want done for a project. We don't have a fancy showroom or any brochures. If someone wants to know what we do, they just walk in and ask. We usually have tea together while looking at the drawings or the broken part. The old bus stand area has changed quite a bit, with new shops opening up and others closing down. We are still here at the same spot, doing the same kind of work every day. It's a living, and it's what we know how to do.
