Guru Teg Bahadur Engineering Works

Down in Sultanpuri, specifically at 41345, you’ll find Guru Teg Bahadur Engineering Works. It’s more of a workshop than an office. You can usually hear the sound of machines running before you even walk through the door. We do a lot of metalwork and repairs, the kind of stuff that leaves you tired at the end of the shift. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s where we do our best work. We’ve been in Sultanpuri for quite a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the work we do stays pretty much the same. People bring us things that are broken or they need something custom made, and we get to it. We don't have a receptionist or a glossy brochure. If you want to talk to us, you just come by the shop. We might be in the middle of a weld or cutting some steel, so you might have to wait a minute. It’s just the way a real engineering shop runs. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just use our hands and the tools we’ve got. It’s not glamorous, but it’s a living. We take pride in just getting the job done right so it doesn't come back to us later. Some days the heat in the shop is a bit much, but we just drink some tea and keep on working until the job is done.
