Saviour Engg. Works

Over in Sector-16 Rohini, at C-2/181-182, is where Saviour Engg. Works is set up. It’s a typical industrial plot in this part of Delhi. We have two units next to each other because we needed more room for the welding equipment and the raw materials. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always some dust or grease on the floor, but that is the nature of engineering work. We aren't sitting at desks all day. Most of us are wearing work boots and getting our hands dirty. The neighborhood is full of similar shops, so there’s always a lot of activity on the street. We started this business because we had the skills and a couple of machines, and it just grew from there. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just do the work that comes in, whether it’s a small repair or a bigger fabrication job. Sometimes we stay late when a customer is in a rush, and other times it’s a bit slower and we just clean up the shop. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It is just metalwork and mechanics. If you need something fixed or built, you come talk to us, and we see if we can do it. That’s how we’ve always operated and it seems to work fine for us.
