Samrat Plastics

Samrat Plastics is based at A-87/1 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. It’s a very busy part of town with a lot of manufacturing going on. Our unit is basically a large warehouse and production floor where the machines run for most of the day. The smell of heated plastic is something you get used to pretty quickly when you work here. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We all wear practical clothes because it can get pretty dusty and messy. We focus on making plastic goods, so there are always stacks of crates and bags of raw material lying around. The layout of the place is designed for efficiency, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the logs and take calls. The noise can be quite loud when all the machines are going at once, so we often have to shout to be heard. It’s a hardworking environment. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls, just a calendar and some safety posters. Most of the guys here have been working the same machines for years. We just try to get the orders finished on time and make sure the quality is what it needs to be. Wazirpur is a tough area, but it’s where we belong and we’ve made a good home for the business at A-87/1. It's just regular people making things.
