Royal Textile Industries

Out here in Tri Nagar, at 3724-B/9 in Narang Colony, things are always moving fast. Royal Textile Industries is basically a big workshop filled with the sound of machines and the smell of raw cotton. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we just open the big doors and keep working. There are fabric scraps all over the floor by noon, no matter how many times we sweep. Narang Colony is a tight space, so deliveries can be tricky when the trucks come in. We’ve got a few long-time workers who have been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone else. We don't have a fancy showroom, just rows of textile rolls and packing crates. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and everything goes quiet, which is a weird feeling in a place this loud. We just sit outside and wait for the power to return. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren't all related. We eat lunch together near the back window. The business side of things involves a lot of counting and double-checking orders. We don't have a big marketing department, we just make the cloth and send it out. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but satisfied. If you walk past, you’ll hear the hum of the looms and see us loading up the carts. That’s just life at our end of Tri Nagar. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s ours.
