Our place is at A 94/3 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it is all about factories and workshops. We do food products here, so our building is set up for cooking and packing rather than being a fancy office. When you walk in, you usually smell spices or whatever is being prepared that day. It is a loud, busy environment with people moving crates and machines running in the back. We wear aprons and hats and spend most of our time on the floor making sure the food is being handled right. It’s not a glamorous job. We have to deal with the heat from the kitchen and the busy pace of the industrial area. There are always trucks coming in and out of the narrow lanes around our unit. We started this because we wanted to make decent food that people can buy in stores. We aren't a big faceless company; we are just a group of people working shifts in Wazirpur. Sometimes the machines break down or a delivery is late, and we just have to roll up our sleeves and fix it. We’ve been in this unit for a long time and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area. It’s hard work, but we just keep our heads down and get the orders filled every day.
