Rashtriya Rozgar Mission

We are over at Sanjay Enclave, right on G T Karnal Road, number 672. The traffic outside is always something else, loud and constant. People come in here looking for work or trying to find someone to help with their business. Rashtriya Rozgar Mission is basically us trying to connect folks. It gets busy on Monday mornings especially. We have a small office. Most days it’s just us answering phones and looking through papers. It’s not fancy, just a desk and some chairs that have seen better days. The address is easy to find if you know the landmark nearby. We've been at this spot for a while now. Some days are slow, others we can't catch our breath. We see a lot of different people coming through the door. Everyone has a different story about why they are looking for a job. We just try to listen and see if anything fits. It’s practical work. Sometimes the printer jams or the tea gets cold before we can drink it. That's just how it goes here. The fan hums in the corner and sometimes it makes a clicking sound that drives me crazy. G T Karnal Road is loud, but we are used to it. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It’s a bit cramped when too many people show up at once. But we manage. We’ve known the neighbors for years. Sanjay Enclave feels like home now.
