Being based in Sultan Puri gives us a good look at how busy New Delhi can really get. Our office for Raj Singh Gahlawat Associates isn't tucked away in some high-rise building with a view. We are right here where the people are, dealing with the heat and the crowds every single day. We’ve been at this for a while, just working through the paperwork and the meetings that come our way. It gets loud outside, and sometimes the dust from the road settles on the desks, but that is just part of living in this city. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. It is a smaller group of us trying to keep things moving. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or expensive chairs. Most of our day is spent talking to people and trying to figure out the best way to handle their requests. It can be a bit chaotic at times, especially during the middle of the week when everyone seems to be in a rush. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the pile of files gets a bit high. That’s just the reality of the work. We appreciate the people who stop by and understand that we are just regular folks working a job. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and we like the community around Sultan Puri.
