In Delhi, our Accenture Management Consulting office is situated at Y 3 Budh Vihar Phase I, which is quite close to Rohini Sector 1. This part of Delhi has a very local, bustling feel to it. The office itself isn’t in one of those fancy high-rise buildings you see in Gurgaon. It’s more of a local building that we’ve made our own. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you’re coming from the south of the city, but the metro helps quite a bit. Inside, it’s a pretty functional environment with plenty of desks and a small area for meetings. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, so we usually just go out to the local vendor for a cup of chai. It gives us a chance to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. The office can get a bit cluttered with folders and equipment, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time on the phone or on video calls these days. The power goes out occasionally, which is just part of living and working in this area, so we have a backup generator that kicks in. It’s a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office. We just want to get our work done well and go home to our families. It’s a simple life here.
