Out in West Shalimar Bagh, our office sits in Block 60. It is a standard building that fits right in with the rest of this part of Delhi. Priwaterhousecoopers Pvt Ltd is not a massive operation with hundreds of people running around in suits. It is just a few of us here, doing the daily work that needs to be done. The desks are often a bit messy with folders and calculators, and we have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making coffee. Most of our time is spent looking at spreadsheets or checking through documents that people send over. The windows look out onto the street, and we spend a fair bit of time watching the traffic when we need a break from the screens. It can get pretty quiet in here during the middle of the day, except for the hum of the computers. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights to attract attention. Most of our clients just know the address and show up when they have something for us to look at. Lunch usually involves someone going out to the local market to bring back something for everyone. We have been in this spot for a few years and have a good relationship with the other businesses in the block. It is a practical space, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on getting through the tasks we have in front of us.
