Parashar Engineering Works

Our place is located at 307/11 in Daya Basti, right across from the Ram Kanta landmark. It’s an old neighborhood, and we’ve become a part of the landscape over the years. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly involving metal parts and repairs for various types of machinery. The shop floor is always busy and there’s usually the sound of grinding or welding in the background. It isn't a very large space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We take on all sorts of jobs, from small fixes to larger projects that take a few weeks to finish. The guys working here have been at it for a long time and they know the machines inside out. We don’t really have a sales team or anyone like that. Usually, if someone needs something, they just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. Daya Basti can be a bit crowded, especially with all the transport moving through, but we like being here. There’s a certain routine to the day, starting early and finishing when the light starts to fade. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. We just provide a place where mechanical problems get sorted out. It’s honest work and it keeps the bills paid and the hands dirty. It is just a regular local engineering shop doing its daily business.
