Located in Pocket 17, Sector-24 of Rohini, Om Himgiri Shree Bazar is our small corner in this big city. We aren't like those massive supermarkets you see in the malls. This is a retail spot where we try to keep the essentials stocked for the neighborhood. Being in Rohini, things are always moving fast, and there are always people coming and going. The shop can get a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, and you might have to step over a few boxes of soap or snacks. We don't have a team of people in uniforms. It’s just us, usually wearing whatever is comfortable for moving stock around. The lighting inside could be brighter, and the shelves are a bit mismatched, but it works for what we need. We spend our days checking expiry dates and making sure the fridge is actually keeping the drinks cold. Sometimes the billing machine acts up, and we have to do the math by hand, which takes a little longer. It’s a regular shop for regular people. We don’t do any big promotions or sales events. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the locals to come in for their bread, milk, or whatever else they ran out of at home. It’s a simple way to spend the day.
