We have been based out of A 203 in the HIG Flats at Jhulelal Housing Society for quite some time now. Pitampura is a busy part of New Delhi, and being here in this specific housing society means we are right in the middle of everything. Our space, which we call Non, isn't fancy or anything. It is just a regular flat where we get our work done every day. Sometimes the stairs feel a bit long when the lift is acting up, but that is just part of living and working in a place like this. We have our desks set up near the windows so we can see what is happening outside in the colony. It gets noisy during the evenings when kids are playing out there, but we do not mind it much. Most of the people around here know us by now. We do not have a big corporate office with glass walls or a reception desk. It is mostly just us sitting around, handling whatever comes our way. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and there are stacks of papers that we keep meaning to organize better. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and going through the day's tasks before the afternoon heat sets in. It is a simple setup that works for what we do. We like being in North Delhi because everything is accessible. People stop by sometimes just to say hello, and we try to help out if we can.
