Our office is up on the fourth floor of Amber Tower. If you know the Azadpur Commercial Complex, you know it is a pretty crowded spot with a lot of movement every single day. We have been in suite 405 for a while now. It is not a huge space, but it fits what we need to get our project work done. Usually, the elevators are a bit slow in the mornings, so most of us just take the stairs if we are running late. The desks are usually covered in blueprints and site reports. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tucked away in meetings trying to figure out the next steps for whatever project is on the table. It is a lot of coordination between different people. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes they do not, which is just the nature of working on big projects. We have a coffee machine that works most of the time, and that is where most of the office talk happens. The view from the window is not much, just more buildings and the busy street below, but it is home for us. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep everything on schedule as much as possible. It gets loud in the complex during lunch hours with all the different businesses around, but you learn to tune it out. We just focus on the task at hand.
