Our place is in the Wazirpur Industrial Area, inside the M.G. House commercial center. It is room 104. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is always loud with machines and people moving boxes around. The stairs in the building are a bit narrow and the elevator works when it wants to, so we usually just walk up. It’s a busy building with lots of other small businesses crammed in. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. There is a small tea stall just outside the main gate where we get our morning drinks. The traffic in the industrial area can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave at the same time. We keep our inventory stacked high and sometimes it is hard to find a chair to sit on. It is not the most quiet place to work, but it suits us just fine. We know most of the loaders and the drivers by their first names. Work starts around nine and we stay until the last truck is sorted out. It’s practical work. Nothing special to look at, but we get the job done every day without too much fuss. We mostly just keep to ourselves and do the work.
