Minakshi Industries

We have been operating out of 70/81 Lawrence Road for quite some time now. This area is full of industrial units, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops. Our main thing is manufacturing, mostly focused on small parts and assemblies that go into bigger machines. The building is an older one, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it serves its purpose. Inside, there’s always the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just make stuff. If a customer needs a batch of components, they bring us the sample or a drawing, and we set up the machines to run them. It can be tedious work, standing for hours at a bench, but it’s what we do. The staff here is mostly local guys from the neighborhood. We eat lunch together in the small break area near the back door. There isn't much to say about us other than we work hard and try to get things out on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the night fixing it so we don't fall behind. That is just part of the job. We don't promise anything crazy, just that we will do the work as best as we can and try to keep the costs reasonable for everyone involved. That is our way of doing things.
