Working out of Wazirpur Industrial Area means you get used to the noise pretty fast. Our office is at 104 in M.G. House, right in the middle of all the commercial activity. Mekatronics Products Pvt Ltd sounds like a big fancy name, but we are just regular folks working with machines and parts every day. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the files are stacked a bit high on the desks. It is always a bit loud because of the other units in the building. We spend our mornings looking at technical drawings and checking the inventory in the back. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out, which is part of life here. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write pretty things about us. We just know how the hardware works and we try to keep the machines running without too much trouble. It is a lot of grease and metal and phone calls to suppliers who are usually running late. The tea man comes around at eleven and that is the highlight of the morning. We have been in this commercial centre for years now. Most of the other business owners around here are friends, so we help each other out with tools or advice when things break down. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without fail.
