Mehran Plastic

We are over here at number 49 in Phase-II of the Badli Industrial Estate. It is a busy place most days. You can hear the machines running from early morning until the sun goes down. The roads around here get pretty dusty when the trucks come through to drop off materials or pick up finished items. We have been in this spot for a while now and everyone knows the building. It is not a fancy place by any means. It’s just an industrial unit where people come to work and earn a living. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure things are moving along. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around until it comes back. That is just how things go in Badli. The workers usually have their tea near the gate during the breaks. It’s a tight community of different businesses all crammed together in this section of the estate. You get used to the noise after a few days. We don't have a big front office with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just desks and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. Most of the space is taken up by the plastic and the equipment. It gets hot in the summer but we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s a regular life for us here, just trying to get the orders done and keeping the gates open for business every morning.
