We work out of Nathu Pura in Delhi, specifically at 37 2 Quadi Vihar. The office is listed under Sh Ganga Ram’s name. M S Great India Survey Consultants is the name we use for our business. Surveying is what we do every day, so we are often out of the office more than we are in it. We have a lot of tripods, measuring tapes, and technical equipment sitting in the corners. Quadi Vihar is a bit of a walk from the main transport links, but it’s a good base for us. The office itself is just a few rooms where we process the data we collect from the field. It’s often a bit messy with maps and notebooks scattered around. We spend our mornings loading up the gear and heading out to different sites. When we get back in the evening, we have to write everything down before we forget it. It’s hard work and involves a lot of standing in the sun. The neighborhood is friendly enough, and we know the people at the local shops. Ganga Ram has been part of this for a long time. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a local spot where we can keep our tools and do our paperwork. It’s a practical job and we just take it one project at a time. The office is small, but it serves its purpose for our survey team and the gear we carry.
