Our office is tucked away in New Delhi, right near the HVPN Post Office and the guest house. We are at House Number 1. Being so close to the power house means we usually have a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. It’s 110035, if you’re looking at a map. We spend most of our time dealing with manuscripts and lots of paper. It gets a bit dusty with all the books and files around, but that is just part of being in the publishing world. The area around here is usually quite active with people coming and going from the post office. We’ve got a small team and we all just pitch in where it's needed. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we manage. We aren't big on flashy signs or anything like that. Just a quiet place where we can focus on getting the work done. You’ll mostly find us sitting around the big table talking about what needs to be printed next. It’s a bit of a maze of shelves inside, but we know where everything is. We like being in this part of Delhi because it feels more like a real neighborhood than a cold business district. Usually, there's a kettle going for tea and someone is always checking the mail. It's just a regular workplace where we keep things moving every day. We don’t mind the noise from the nearby office because it makes us feel like we are in the middle of everything.
