We have been working out of this space at B-282 in the Phase 1 industrial area of Mangol Puri for a long time. If you know the neighborhood, it is mostly a mix of heavy trucks, dusty roads, and people moving metal around. Our unit isn't something out of a magazine. It’s a real workshop with grease on the floors and tools scattered on the workbenches. We mostly deal with industrial gear and spare parts for machines that other businesses use. The noise is something you just get used to after a few days. My desk is usually buried under old catalogs and handwritten notes about orders. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come to the back where we keep the stock. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes and checking the inventory to see what needs to be ordered. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend our breaks, usually talking about the traffic or the weather. It’s hard manual work and the days can be quite long, especially when we are short-handed. We don't bother with fancy signs or advertisements. People in the industrial area know where we are, and that is usually enough for us. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure the machines are ready. We keep things simple because that’s what works here.
