Kapil Traders New Delhi India Wholesale Business Of Cott

This is Kapil Traders and we are based in Delhi, specifically in Model Town Part 3 at D 3. I have been doing this wholesale business of cotton for a long time. Delhi is a busy place for trade, and Model Town can get very crowded in the afternoons. My name is Kapil and I run the show here. We deal with a lot of fabric, so there is always lint and dust flying around the office. It gets on your clothes and in your hair by the end of the day. The warehouse area is filled with big rolls and heavy boxes that we have to move around constantly. It is hard work and my back usually aches by five o'clock. I don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; I just have a fan that rattles quite a bit. My desk is usually covered in invoices and small scraps of fabric samples. I’ve been in this spot for years and I know all the local transporters who move our goods. We send stuff all over India, but everything starts right here in this building. I don’t use any big marketing words to describe what I do. It is just buying and selling cotton. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy from morning until night. Sometimes the shipments are late and I have to stay late to wait for the trucks. That’s just part of the business in Delhi.
