Jindal Woodcraft

Jindal Woodcraft is over in Pitampura, specifically at E-1092, Saraswati Vihar. We are pretty easy to find because we are near the water tank and the bus terminal. It’s a busy corner of the neighborhood. Our place is basically a combination of a small workshop and a storage area. As the name suggests, we work with wood. There is almost always the sound of a saw or a sander going in the back. The front part of the shop is where we keep some finished pieces and where we talk to people who stop by. It’s usually covered in a thin layer of sawdust, no matter how much we sweep. That’s just the nature of woodcraft. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. We do a lot of custom work, which means we spend a lot of time measuring things and sketching out ideas on scraps of paper. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of wood and have to wait for a delivery, which slows things down. We try to be honest about how long things take. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve been doing this for a long time. The bus terminal nearby means there’s always people moving around outside, but inside we just focus on the wood. It’s a noisy, dusty, but good way to spend a day. We keep things simple.
