J.B. Engineering Works

Our workshop, J.B. Engineering Works, is located at 19/93 in Basti Sarai Rohilla. We are right on Old Rohtak Road. This area has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old buildings and the narrow lanes. Being near the railway tracks means we hear the trains passing by all day long, which kind of blends into the noise of our own lathes and grinders. The building at 19/93 is an old structure with high ceilings that help a bit with the heat in the summer. We have grease on our hands most of the time, and the floor has that dark color from years of oil spills and metal filings. It’s a small operation. We have a couple of older machines that still run better than the new ones if you know how to handle them. The staff has been with us for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We take our breaks sitting on the wooden benches outside the main door, watching the traffic on Old Rohtak Road. It’s a lot of manual labor and precision, but that is what engineering works is all about. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just focus on the pieces we are making. It’s a bit of a grit-and-grind type of place, but it’s what we know.
