Jai Mata Cutlery Works

It’s usually pretty loud around here at Jai Mata Cutlery Works. Being at A-124/1 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area means there is always some kind of noise coming from the machines or the trucks outside. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. Most days just involve us getting the metal ready and making sure the grinders are working like they should. It gets hot in the summer, really hot, especially when all the machines are running at once. We just have a few fans going and try to keep moving. The floor is usually covered in some dust or metal shavings by noon, so someone has to sweep up. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we make forks and spoons and that kind of thing. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Wazirpur is a busy place, and there are so many of us doing similar work around here. We know the neighbors, and we sometimes borrow tools from each other if something breaks. It’s just how things go. My desk is piled up with papers and old samples that I really should sort through one day, but there never seems to be enough time. We just keep busy with the orders that come in and try to get everything out the door on time. That’s about it for us.
