J P Kirana Store is located near the old flour mill in Gali Number 103, right in the Anaj Mandi area of Tri Nagar. The address is 1464, and it’s a place that smells like grain and earth because of where we are. Being near a flour mill means there is always a lot of movement and heavy sacks being hauled around. Our shop is where people come to get their daily supplies without having to go to the bigger markets. We keep it simple here. There are stacks of bags and rows of jars containing all sorts of spices and grains. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we get a big delivery in. Tri Nagar is a busy place, and we’ve been part of this street for a good long while. We don't have any glossy brochures or fancy signs. It’s just us, the counter, and the stock. We spend our days weighing out portions and chatting with the locals about the weather or the price of wheat. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of business. The work is steady and repetitive, but we like the routine of it. We just aim to be a reliable spot in the neighborhood where you can get what you need and go about your day. It’s just a normal shop in a normal street, doing what we've always done for the people here.
