For the Infosys Bpo Ltd Knowledge Services office, we are located at F 48 in Phase 1 of Ashok Vihar in Delhi. This office is actually at Vivek Kumar’s place, so it’s not your typical corporate tower. Ashok Vihar is a well-known area and being in Phase 1 means we are in a fairly established neighborhood. The office is basically a converted residential space, which makes it feel a lot more relaxed than a glass building. We have rooms filled with desks and computers. It gets really hot in Delhi during the summer, so we have the ACs running constantly. The street outside is usually lined with cars and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We do a lot of specialized work here that requires a lot of thinking and checking. Since it’s a smaller setup, we all know each other pretty well. We don't have a big security gate or a front desk person; it’s more informal. We usually order in some food if we’re staying late or just bring stuff from home. It’s a practical way to run things without all the overhead of a massive office block. We focus on the quality of what we are doing and try not to worry too much about the small stuff. It’s a quiet, busy little corner where we just get on with our jobs. We try to keep the place organized so we can find everything we need.
