Imelda Incorporate

We’ve been here at B 511 in the Transit Camp area of Govindpuri for a while now. Imelda Incorporate isn't a huge flashy place, just a regular office where we get things done. Most days start with tea and checking what came in the day before. Govindpuri is always busy, so there is usually noise from the street coming through the windows. We deal with various papers and coordination tasks. It’s mostly just a few of us sitting at desks with computers and old filing cabinets that probably need replacing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or chat until it comes back. It isn’t glamorous. We handle the paperwork for different clients and make sure things move from one point to another without too much trouble. Sometimes things get messy when multiple orders come in at once and the desks get buried under forms. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People come by, we talk about what they need, and we try to sort it out. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we started, but we are still in the same spot. We know the tea stall guy and the people in the next building. It's just a regular work life for us here. We keep our heads down and do the work. Nothing more to it, really. Just a local business trying to keep things moving day by day without any fuss.
