You can find us at 132 C B in the UV block of Shalimar Bagh. This part of Delhi is very crowded with houses and small businesses all packed together. Our office is just a simple unit where we manage the bank’s daily operations. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful with how we stack our files and where we put the extra chairs. The walls are a plain color and we have a few old calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. Outside, the street is usually full of parked cars and delivery bikes, which makes it a bit noisy during the middle of the day. We have a small pantry where we keep our lunch boxes and a kettle for making coffee. The air conditioning is a bit old and makes a rattling sound, but it keeps us cool enough during the harsh Delhi summers. Most of our work involves manual data entry and checking the books to make sure everything adds up. We have a few regular visitors from the nearby blocks who come in to chat or finish their banking tasks. It’s a very unpretentious place. We don't use any complicated jargon, we just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just use that time to organize the cupboards. It’s a very typical, honest sort of office environment for our team.
