Our office is at number 10 in Eklavya Appt, which is over in Sector 13 of Rohini. It’s a quiet residential building, so it doesn't really feel like a typical workplace. We like it that way because it is peaceful and we don't have to deal with the chaos of a commercial center. I8Cloud Consulting (Opc) Private Limited is basically just a few of us in a converted apartment space. We have our desks set up in the main room and some old filing cabinets in the corner that we rarely open. The lift in the building is quite old and makes a strange creaking noise, so most of the time we just walk up. There is a small balcony where we keep a few plants, though they don't always get enough water. We spend most of our hours looking at spreadsheets and answering emails. It is not the kind of place with a big sign or a fancy coffee machine. We just use a basic kettle for our tea. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear them laughing while we are on calls. It makes the place feel more human, I think. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls. We just show up every morning, do what needs to be done, and try to keep things organized. It is just a simple, practical way to run a consulting business from this part of North Delhi.
