Our office is on the second floor of a building in Sector-7, Rohini. It’s C-7/223. Rohini is a crowded place with lots of blocks and similar-looking buildings. The name on the door says Vertrauen Innovations. It sounds like a big name, but we are just a small team working out of a few rooms. Most of our time is spent on our computers or talking on the phone. The staircase up to the second floor is a bit narrow, so moving furniture in was a real task. There is a small balcony where we go to get some air, though the view is just other rooftops and power lines. It’s not the most glamorous office, but it works for us. Most of our work is about various technical projects and ideas. Some days are very busy and we stay late, ordering food from the shop downstairs. Other days are slower and the team just sits around discussing things. There isn't a receptionist or anything fancy. If the doorbell rings, whoever is closest to the door opens it. There are some plants in the corner that get forgotten sometimes. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s relatively quiet during the day except for the occasional street vendor shouting. Focus stays on the work and trying to get things right. It is a long climb up those stairs every morning, but we are used to it by now. The place feels like home.
