Over here in Shastri Nagar at B-1004, we spend most of our days thinking about how to move heavy stuff. Gvn Material Handling (P) Ltd. is basically just a few of us trying to figure out the best way to get crates and pallets from one side of a warehouse to the other. It is not the kind of thing most people think about until they have a heavy load they cannot lift by themselves. We deal with pallet jacks, trolleys, and all sorts of metal frames. Our office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the catalogs and answer the phone. I spend at least half of my time on-site at different warehouses seeing how their floors are laid out. Shastri Nagar can be a bit of a maze sometimes, so getting parts delivered often takes longer than we expect. We aren't trying to change the world, we just want to make sure the equipment doesn't break down when someone is in the middle of a job. A lot of the work is just basic nuts and bolts. We have a small team and we have worked together for so long that we don't need to say much to get things done. Sometimes we have our lunch together at the main desk and talk about the news or the weather. It is a steady pace and we don't bother with much marketing. People just find us.
