Filaments India Ltd.

Filaments India Ltd. operates out of Sp-1192(F) in the Riico Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means it’s all about the work. There aren't many trees or fancy parks around here, just rows of factories and the sound of machines. Our space is mostly taken up by the equipment we use to make our filaments. It’s a big, open hall with a high ceiling to help with the heat. We have a small office section partitioned off, but most of the action happens on the floor. The staff here are used to the noise. We wear our work clothes and don't worry too much about getting a bit of grease on our hands. The Riico area is quite spread out, so it’s a bit of a trek for some of us to get here every morning. We start early to beat the worst of the sun. There is a lot of repetition in what we do, checking the machines and making sure the quality of the filament is consistent. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone writing glossy brochures. We just make the product and ship it out. It’s a straightforward operation. The floor is concrete, the lights are bright, and the coffee in the breakroom is usually too strong, but it gets us through the shift. We’ve been at this plot for years and we know the routine inside out. It's not glamorous, but it is what we do.
