Our office is tucked away at number 2040 in Jain Nagar, which is part of the Kashmiri Colony in New Delhi. It’s a busy neighborhood, like most of this city. At Centrica Plc, we just handle our daily business from this spot. It’s a regular building, nothing that really stands out from the street. Inside, we have our desks and files like any other place. Some days are busier than others, with people coming in and out for various tasks. New Delhi can be a lot to handle sometimes with the noise and the crowds, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. We don't have a big team here, just a few dedicated people who know what they're doing. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the loudest company around. We just want to get through our list of things to do and make sure everything is handled properly. Sometimes we stay a bit late to finish up, but that’s just part of the job. There’s a tea stall not far from here where we usually go for breaks. It’s a practical setup for us. We've been in Jain Nagar for a bit now and we’re settled in quite well. We just keep things moving along as well as we can. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady and we appreciate the people we work with. Most days are pretty predictable, which is actually quite nice given how chaotic the city can be outside. We just do our bit every day.
