Our office is tucked away at 9, Amar Park, right near the Zakhira Flyover on Rohtak Road. It’s a busy spot, and the sound of traffic from the flyover is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. Being engineers and consultants means our desks are usually covered in blueprints, messy sketches, and a lot of half-empty tea cups. The building is older, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We spend most of our hours looking at technical drawings or talking on the phone with site managers. It’s not the most glamorous place, but it gets the job done for us. There is a small park nearby where we sometimes go for a quick walk when the office feels too cramped. The Rohtak Road area is always humming with people moving around, which keeps things interesting. We don’t have a big reception area or shiny decorations. It’s mostly just shelves full of files and old project reports that we keep for reference. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different projects need attention at once, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the locals know the Bhagsons name. We just keep our heads down, do the math, and try to make sure everything we consult on is solid and accurate.
