Working at B S E S Yamuna Power Limited over here in Dhakavillage is never boring. Mukesh Kumar Mishra is the one you’ll usually find at 180 Dhakavillage, which is right near the Prathviraj Chauhan Park. It’s a very active spot near Kingway Camp in New Delhi. You can usually hear the kids playing in the park while we are trying to get through the daily paperwork. This area of Delhi is old and has a lot of character, but that also means the power infrastructure can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We spend a lot of time out and about, not just sitting behind a desk. We are part of the local fabric here. The office at 180 is a simple place, nothing fancy at all. We have our maps and our tools and we just try to keep everything running for the people in the neighborhood. When the power goes out, we are the ones who get the calls, and we know how frustrating that can be for everyone. We don’t use any marketing speak or big promises.
