Ajay Bakshi

I am Ajay Bakshi and I have been based at Ap 79 A in Pitam Pura for a long time. Pitam Pura is one of those places in Delhi where everything feels within reach, and that is why I like it here. My workspace is part of where I live, which makes things a lot easier when there is a lot to do late at night. I don't have a staff of twenty people or a fancy reception area. It is just me and occasionally a helper when things get really backed up. Most of my day is spent answering calls or dealing with the small details that come with this kind of work. I have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops open and old ones close, but I have stayed right here in this spot. People know they can find me here if they need something done. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. I just tell people I handle things, and usually, that is enough. Sometimes I take a walk in the local park just to clear my head before the evening rush starts. It is not a complicated existence, but it is mine. I like the independence of working for myself and the fact that I don't have to answer to a boss in a suit.
